If your company or organization is looking to develop your employees’ skills, Swedish universities can be your partner in education, by providing training that you commission.
Swedish universities constantly strive to be at the forefront of research and education. As a percentage of GDP, the country is among the world’s top investors in higher education.
Find out more about which kind of commissioned education suits your demands best and how to go about buying contract training. Here is contact information for institutions selling contract training.
Different kinds of training
Higher education for professionals can range from shorter seminars to full degree programs, all taught in English.
Several institutions have extensive experience in providing courses in English to guest students, and now offer these courses to companies as part of “course packages”. Each university has a list of courses in English, with modules that range from 5 weeks of study to one semester (20 weeks), up to full master’s degree programs (1-2 years).
Training can also be tailored to your specific needs. Time, length, content, level and teaching method can be adapted. Some institutions can also offer on-site teaching in your country, if facilities are available.
To ensure the highest quality, regulations stipulate that Swedish institutions may only provide contract training in the fields for which the institution is authorized to hold examinations.
For contract training at university level, standard academic practices must be observed when designing syllabi and training plans, when appointing examiners, and when awarding grades, diplomas, course credits and/or proof of course attendance.
Swedish higher education excels at advanced research and applied sciences – precisely the skills that knowledge-based companies and organizations require. Please contact the institutions directly for further information.
